<p>For UC admissions the absolute minimum requirement is a 2.4 to apply. UCSD however, is an extremely competitive school that in an average year admits less than 40% of their applicants. UCSD states that their median GPA for Fall admits is consistently around a 3.5, so getting into to any major with a 2.7 is very high unlikely. </p>
<p>So would it be possible to apply? Sure. Do you have a chance at getting in if your GPA doesn’t improve? Honestly, I couldn’t see a 2.7 getting you into UCR yet alone UCSD.</p>
