Does anyone know the average/minimum GPA to transfer to USCD communication major?
Also, what is 'major GPA', and the difference between cumulative GPA and major GPA?

<p>I dont know the answer to your first question but I would guess maybe like a 3.5 or 3.6. </p>
<p>As for your second question, the major GPA is the grade point average of the courses that are required for your major. The best way to find what these are is to use assist.org, plug in UCSD as the school you want to go to, put your major and then the school that you are transferring from. It will give you a list of the classes that you need to transfer there so take the grades that you have received in these classes and you have your major GPA</p>
