Hi, i posted here before
but i have a question about transferring
what kind of GPA are needed for transferring into arts?
also, will letters of recommendation and personal statement letter help??
please respond!!
thank you

errrr i meant university transfers, for 3rd year.

hey ...i applied 2 trasfer this year from UBC. I'm thinking the minimum would be a B/B+ average and i wasn't asked for letters of recommendation. Canadian Universities focus mainly on the grades.
Have you applied yet??

actually i'm attending mcgill
i'm posting regards to my girlfriend..
I'm just hoping around 3.5 will be fine for arts?
that's only the second year marks though. First year marks.. not too great.
Anyone think she stands a chance?
hopefully she won't read this and get mad at me for posting hehehe

well i'm kinda in the same situation. I screwed up badly in my first year, but i'll hopefully finish this year with an A average so it'll balance out. I really wanna transfer..kinda desperate..hehe

Just out of sheer curiosity, when's the earliest one can apply to transfer to McGill? (ex: Can I apply to transfer after one semester?)

Not that I'm not happy about going to Concordia, but my first choice really was McGill, and if I can apply to sooner than later, all the better, eh?

I hope to get in too, applying from UBC as well here.

I have a B+/A- average now, but it's hard to keep up and I'm not doing excellently. I think McGill prefers at least one year before transferring because they don't do individual semesters.
