Let me try to keep this brief; I was a homeschooler that graduated early. Shortly after I graduated HS i turned 17 and due to familial issued moved into my sister's house in another state. Because I was so bent on starting my college career, I began going to a local community college part time. I found a way to make things work with my parents and moved back a year later. Because of the timing, I didn't have a chance to really look for a new college (it was july) so I applied at a school that was still accepting transfers in hopes of improving my academic resume. It was a close by state school that is not particularly prestigious: Middle Tennessee State University. I then transferred to a slightly more exclusive private school, Belmont University. I can't really remember why it seemed so perfect now but it just seemed like a really great fit: after a year, I still love the school a lot but not finances have become a serious issue. If it will be plausible for me to attend for the rest of my college career(I have 63 college credits), I will have to really over extend myself. I am considering transferring to my state's flagship, University of Tennessee, which is higher ranked and more affordable (quite a bit more). However, I am aware that having transferred twice already reflects pretty poorly on me in terms of how I will look to graduate schools and for future employment. Transferring three times must look completely awful. On the other hand, I just can't imagine how it might effect my future to have to continue maxing out my loans for the next 2 years.
