Transferring after academic dismissal?

I'll try and make this as quick as possible so...

I graduated from a community college in which I received my associate's degree, then I transferred to the U at Albany but got really home sick and along with other personal reasons happen to get academically dismissed. I am going to finish obtaining my bachelor's degree but I don't know if I should go back to U at Albany next fall or transfer to another school. I know I should be able to transfer my transcript from CC to another university because my GPA was 3.5 there but will the other schools accept my transcript from Albany? I know my most schools require at-least a 2.0 GPA to transfer so if I request my transcripts from Albany to another school, do they just take the grades I received at-least a C in into account or the cum GPA? Does both of my transcripts get fractured in?

I hope this doesn't sound too confusing
