I am looking to complete 150 hrs during undergrad in order to sit for the CPA exam upon graduation. Is it possible to transfer after the 1st semester of my junior year as long as I meet the credit requirements? Ive only heard of ppl transferring during their freshman or sophomore years..

bump 10 char

Most schools require you to spend two years there to earn their degree. Not sure how this would apply to you. Don't they usually have a maximum number of credits they will allow you to arrive with as well?

I think this is very rare but most schools say that they require a minimum of 4 semesters of classes for a degree to be awarded. If you meet the credt requirement and do take 4 semesters, you might be ok. However, many colleges do not want "super seniors" and will only admit you if you graduate "on time" (in exactly 4 years)

If you transfer late...that means you spend even more time at your "new" college.

how about if you withdraw after sophomore year to work, build your resume, etc. and then apply as a junior transfer.

some wont take you if you have too many credits i believe
