Transferring credits from another UC to Cal

Did anyone transfer credits from another UC to Cal?

I’m a freshman at Cal and I earned 6 units at UCSD over the summer. I went to Registrar with my UCSD academic transcript and was told that I have to do it online. Looked everywhere on CalCentral and can’t figure out how to apply those units.

You would need to send an electronic transcript of the summer classes (or perhaps have an official transcript if handed in, in a sealed envelope) from UCSD over to the Registrar. It then gets evaluated. If you would have done this right after summer classes were over, you should have gotten your credits by about Week 5 in the Fall. Not sure how long it will take if you do it now though.

This is pretty common - my kid took a CC class over the summer and went thru the above process.
