<p>That is oftentimes their main focus in a fair amount of majors. Literature, philosophy, and theology are examples of that. And, pulling yourself up by your bootstraps counts for a great deal. Factor in op having the emotional maturity of not desiring to have 180k in debt. And...you have someone with their head screwed on straight who will go far at grad school.</p>

<p>That is darned true. You can check the stats of a fair amount of grad programs at good schools and see that for sure.</p>
