I'm having a hard time deciding whether or not I wanna go to a UC at the moment or if I'll like the school I want to. I understand that it's harder to transfer from a UC to another UC like UCSC to UCB. So how hard is it to transfer from a UC to a private? Like what are the requirements? I know they're requirements/programs to go through at a community/junior college, but what about at a UC?

Which private schools are you looking at? I think it’ll really vary school to school.

Before thinking about transferring, you should really give whatever school you’re considering a chance, with a completely open mind.

I was rejected from all my top choices, and ended up going to UCSD (which I had never heard of, because I’m out-of-state). I was really set on transferring to my top choice in the beginning, but I went to UCSD with an open mind. College is what you make of it, and yeah, a particular school isn’t for everyone, but sometimes, you’ll find the greatest things when you least expect it.

UCSD turned out to be the greatest decision I had ever made, and I miss it dearly (I ended up transferring for financial/graduation reasons).
