Transferring From Bowdoin College

So I Am a Sophomore at Bowdoin College and I have a GPA of 3.0 However I absolutely hate it at Bowdoin.
I am 1000% sure I want to transfer.

unfortunately, I am a relatively poor individual who can only apply to universities with extremely strong financial aid departments if I want to have any hope of affording college.

Also, most elite academic universities require fairly high GPAs from transfers. Does anyone have ay suggestions of potential universities that I may have a shot at attending?

I am looking for a larger university then Bowdoin, and preferably in warmer weather but not a deal breaker.

With a 3.0 college GPA and this:

combined with a need for major financial aid your best bet would be your instate public colleges.

You posted before ever starting at Bowdoin that you wanted to transfer. You should stick it out and take advantage of what Bowdoin offers.

Yes, check if your in-state public universities will admit you and be affordable. Let’s hope that you are not a resident of Pennsylvania or other state where in-state public universities tend to be unaffordable for those from middle and lower income families.
