Baruch College

Hey, guys!

I really need some sort of help, here...

I applied to Baruch before the deadline, but I had problems with sending my transcripts until much later than the deadline.

See, I went to Nassau; graduated; went to Farmingdale for a semister; came back to Nassau for another semister, and here I am with a 2.7 gpa.

I really messed up during my first 2 years, but after graduating, I took a summer course and aced it; then, did very well in Fdale; and extremely well during my most recent semister in Nassau. I originally graduated from Nassau with a 2.48.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I won't be accepted into the accounting program at Baruch, so I was wondering how good my chances would be if I appealed. I'm really set on Baruch, and would really appreciate any advice here. Thanks in advance.

FYI, I was accepted into Hofstra, but I really don’t think it lives up to what some on Long Island think of it. I feel as though they just want the cheque.

But it is AACSB accredited, so I was wondering what some of you think about whether or not it is worth it to attend Hofstra (if I am denied by Baruch,) and just pay to play. OR, should I just head back to Farmingdale (they don’t have accounting,) and then go somewhere else for the Masters.

Thanks again.

gna b tough to get into baruch just read on some other post guy got turned down w/3.2. i got in there with a 3.5 and they said when i went to a college fair 3.0. im trying accounting 2 still deciding b/w baruch, hofstra honors, or fordham although leaning baruch.
