I'm wrapping up the end of my second Fall semester at a community college in California, and I'm planning on transferring to a different school during Fall/Winter of 2015.

Previously, I intended to continue my undergraduate education in the United States before weighing my options for internal/international graduate school, but now my desire to once again move countries has caught my attention.

I was originally born in Brazil to a Canadian mother and Italian father. When my mother decided to move to the United States and get re-married, I became one of few people to obtain their third citizenship. I find it a shame to waste any of them. I've thoroughly enjoyed my life in the United States and the opportunities this country has provided me with, but I cannot see myself staying here for much longer, due to mostly personal reasons.

That being the case, I'm curious about the application processes for Canada and Germany. As far as language is concern, I'm fluent in English/Portuguese and conversational in French. I'm currently studying German, and I'm honestly looking at Germany in higher hopes than Canada.

Germany: How hard is it to transfer credits from community college to a German school? Do I need to pass a language proficiency test? One of my friends from Brazil is currently studying in Germany, and he was telling me about all the different tests he had to take in order to get accepted. However, I've heard some news recently (but haven't done my research) that lead me to believe that it was easier for American students to go straight into German universities. Is this true? Any help would be much appreciated. Also, I'm very interested in studying medicine, primarily, although I'm set to get my B.S./B.A. in any (bio)archaeology/anthropology fields if necessary. How much more difficult is it to get into a German medical program? How hard is it to get a student visa to stay in Germany? Price?

Canada: How easily do community college credits transfer to a Canadian school? Since I'm a Canadian citizen, I'm not concerned about the visa's or fee's that most international students dread. Do I have to submit my SAT/ACT/HS Transcripts when I send my CC transcripts? Do I need to pass a French proficiency test for medical programs? How hard is it to get into the medical program in Canada, and would I require an undergraduate degree to be accepted?

Any and all help/comments will be gratefully accepted.
