Transferring from CC to Umass Amherst?

<p>I'm planning on transferring from a junior college to a four year university next fall and trying to gauge my chances. Here are my credentials at my current school:</p>

<p>-GPA: 3.4 - 3.5 (I haven't gotten grades back yet)
-SATs: retaking them, planning on getting at least a 2000
-Ample letters of recommendation
-Volunteer work
-No EC's, but I have been working at the same job for over a year (I've been told this will help me out.)
-I've won two small scholarships (I've been told this will help me out)
-I plan on writing a stellar essay. (I'm adept at writing and have two academic advisors helping me.)</p>

<p>So, what are my chances for UMass Amherst, keeping in mind that my father is an alumnus?</p>

<p>Also, if anyone knows, what are my chances for the University of Vermont?</p>

<p>Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out. Sorry about the crappy writing in this post, I'm very tired.</p>

<p>This is crossposted.</p>

<p>So... bump.</p>

<p>i think UVM is the easiest good school to get in out there
look at the admit profile from my school
3.7+ 1 out of 1
3.4-3.5 4 out of 4
3.2-3.4 4 out of 4
3.0- 3.2 8 out of 8
2.9-3.0 6 out of 7
2.6-2.9 3 out of 6
2.3-2.6 3 out of 7
2.3 under 1 out of 4</p>

<p>Thanks for your reply. Sadly though, I don't think I have enough money for UVM :(</p>
