<p>At the College of Chemistry, how hard is it to transfer majors? If I want to do so, can I switch before I start taking classes?</p>

<p>Very very easy to switch between majors in CoC. Just shoot an email to the advisor person and briefly say a bit about yourself and why you want to switch, they’ll most likely allow you to do so (you may have to do a little paperwork, but it’s really easy as long as you let them know).</p>
<p>ChemEs and Chem Bios take the same classes in the first semester anyway, so you could theoretically wait until you get here if you wanted to do that, or you can do the email method :)</p>
<p>The switching process is trivial, but you probably won’t be able to officially switch until the middle/end of the first semester. But as Agneisse mentioned, it really doesn’t matter.</p>
