Transferring from CSU to UC

I currently attend csuf and i want to transfer to a uc/private school. I understand that it is extremely hard to get in if you do not have a exceptional GPA. However, I just have some questions:
-what school year did you apply?
-What schools did you apply to?
-What are the schools average transfer application deadline date?
-What schools have the highest csu transfer rates?

I am in the spring semester of my sophomore year, but i believe i will only have around 52 units at the end of this semester. I understand that i have to have at least 60 units to transfer. Thus, when i apply my junior year at CSUF, would i be considered a junior in my application or senior because of my units?

My current GPA without my spring sophomore year grade is a 3.46
I am currently undeclared but i plan to major in computer science, communication, or radio/tv/film

yes you’ll be considered a junior transfer. it’s determined by number of credits not the amount of time you’ve been in school. I applied to transfer after 3 years at SFSU and got into the econ program at UCSD and UCSB and am still waiting to hear back from others. my gpa was a 3.5 and all prereqs were completed. Depending on the major and school you apply to will determine the difficulty, but the rumor that it’s nearly impossible to transfer from a csu to uc is a myth.

Thank you so much!
I just hope now that i will not have too many credit when i apply
