what would it take to transfer from SDSU to UCLA after 2 years at SDSU?
is it even possible?

Yes, it's possible. You will need about a 3.5 to 3.7 GPA minimum at SDSU, however (the actual GPA needed depends upon which program you are applying to).

Thanks for the response. For example, how about the Business program at UCLA?

Are you already attending SDSU? If not, your chances of transferring to UCLA are greatly improved by doing your first two years at a California Community College. For 2008, UCLA had an admit rate of 39.22% (accounting for 91.21% of all admits) from California Community Colleges. The admit rate for transfers from California four-year colleges (other than UCs) was 15.52% (accounting for only 1.95% of all admits).
UCLA is currently offering guaranteed transfers for certain students at UC Merced, and then offers transfer priority to CA community college transfers. You chances would depend more on the number of qualified students they had in those two groups the year you applied than on your particular statistics.
