Transferring from Seton Hall to Rutgers NB?

I am a rising junior at Seton Hall with 77 credits as a biochemistry major. I am really unhappy at SHU and became really irresponsible and lazy so I haven’t been doing so well. Finished my fourth semester with a cumulative GPA of a 2.797. I am trying to turn my life around and took a summer course and got an A, which bumped my GPA up to a 2.862. I am planning on doing part-time at Seton Hall in the fall to retake the courses I did poorly in, and apply to transfer to Rutgers NB in the spring of 2020.
I am mainly concerned about graduating on time as a Biochem major there. These are the courses I’ve already taken that go towards my degree.
Gen Chem I and II (C+ and C)
Gen Bio I and II (C- and C+)
Calculus I and II (A- and C)
Organic Chemistry I and II (A and pending)
I’ve also taken a bunch of other courses like english I and II, Spanish I and II, Psychology, Sociology, Oral Communications, Ethica, Religions of the World, and more. Please give me any advice or warnings about my desires to transfer!

You should try to increase your GPA to at least a 3.2 because that is the 25% for all of SAS transfers. Rutgers does have a very rigorous stem program so be prepared to spend a lot of time studying and a change in curriculum. Rutgers also has much bigger classes so again, be ready to self study. The social life, on the other hand, is very good as there are many people and the school is very big so there is always something going on.
