<p>I was accepted into the Economics major at UM. the Admissions counselor told me there was no guarantee that i would ever be able to transfer into the school of business or take any business courses. For anyone who knows, how difficult is it to transfer to the business school from the school of arts and sciences, the email from the admissions counselor scared me</p>
<p>that is odd, I'm currently a freshman and during the summer I email my advisor requesting to transfer into the business school. She simply reviewed my application and did it. my advice: talk to an academic advisor in the business school, not an addmissions counselor.</p>
<p>ALSO if you're pretty sure you want to be in the business school, do it as early as you can. If you wait a semester you will already be behind in a bunch of core requirements. so basically the sooner the better.</p>
