<p>Hey guys, i just wanted to know what you honestly think my chances are of getting into either LA or SD?
Here are my stats:
School: UCSB
Major: Pre-psychology
Applying to: UCLA, UCSD
GPA: 3.30
Preq's: done by spring
EC's: Research in the psychology department for the past year.
My grades show a huge improvement in Fall 2007 because I had surgery over the summer on my bones in my hand. It was hard for me to get really good grades in my freshman yr since I endured a lot of pain. But, now my surgery has helped me so much. In the fall 2007 I got an A in statistics, A- in research writing and a B in abnormal psychology. What do u guys think? Please let me know.</p>
<p>I wouldn't say you have a great shot, but it's certainly possible...
If you're applying for sophomore status, greater emphasis is placed on your HS curriculum, and your SATs. I'm a bit curious why you got a B in psychology and an A in the other courses, considering psychology is your intended major, something adcoms might point out.</p>
