Transferring From Villanova To Notre Dame

So i am applying to Notre Dame for next year from Villanova University (rising sophomore)

My first semester GPA was a 3.5 in the college of engineering (i am applying to the engineering school at Notre Dame as well)

Should get about a 3.5 2nd semester as well (A's being Calc 3, Physics, Engineering...B in chem :/)

In high school i had a 3.66 GPA (roughly)
Got a 1400 on SAT's (2 Part)
33 composite ACT's

Took 8 AP Exams (English lit-3, lang-4, Stats-4, Calc BC-5, Macro-4, Micro-4, Physics B-4, Ushistory-4)

Started My own club sport team at villanova, did multiple intramural sports, and part of inter-hall council.

Thats pretty much it...what are my chances?

Can’t help you on your question, but I have one for you:

My S may be considering Villanova for engineering. What are your reason(s) for wanting to transfer? It sounds like you were pretty involved your first year.

the only reason i want to transfer is because villanova doesn’t offer an Aerospace engineering program while notre dame does. As far as the schools are concerned (Villanova Engineering to Notre Dame Engineering) i feel like they are pretty much the same. (we use the same text books for pretty much every class.)

Villanova is a great school and if i do get accepted to notre dame it will be a hard decision choosing which school to go to next year.
