Transferring high school during junior yearo - class rank?

<p>Since the school's system is very different, my class rank will be not even around top 10% in my new school. I was top 3% in previous school.. should I talk to the counselor? </p>

<p>Also, it will put me very disadvantage because I won't be able to have some leadership positions in clubs since I'm new..

<p>Yes, talk to your GC about this. Yes, you will be at a disadvantage for the small number of schools that care about ECs. Colleges really don’t handle it. It’s up to students to figure out what to do. Many things outside school count as ECs. This is something that military brats run into regularly.</p>
