Transferring high schools

should I transfer to a super competitive high school or a very large, moderately competitive high school, or just stay at my high school (small, uncompetitive)? I am a sophomore that honestly just wants a good shot at a good college but I’m scared that 1. I’ll fail academically or 2. I’ll make no friends and have no extracurriculars because I transferred too late. I despise my current school but I’m doing very well in it academically. I doubt an A an this school means anything to the others

Unless you live in Texas, transfer to the large, moderately competitive school. Before you do, learn about the class scheduling process.
Since you are a top student, you should be taking AP English, apush, honors math or calculus AB, foreign language 3 or 4, and physics honors (or whatever is the honors science option). You’ll be in a cohort taking these classes so you’ll make friends there, but surely you must participate in clubs/sports, which will help you.
