Transferring into a fraternity?

I am curious as to how one should apply for housing if you plan on rushing a fraternity and stay in a frat house.(Thinking Sig Chi at UCLA or CAL).

If my question seems simple, it's because I know absolutely nothing about this process.

Thank you for any help!

Just make sure you gpa is 3.5+, you have good ec’s, and write a personal statement from the heart

I wasn’t aware Fraternities require personal statements??

I have already been accepted into ucla and cal for the fall…

lol fishtankcleaner is trippin.
but i think that you would stay in a house your second year.

most frats you can’t live in until the beginning of a new semester, and pledges aren’t allowed to live there.

so you wouldn’t be able to live there until spring if you rush fall

Here at UCLA, they do rushing every new quarter…actually I think it’s more like Fall/Spring, maybe I was missing throughout Winter since I didn’t like Winter quarter…lol.

Anyways, it’s actually pretty easy to rush. I know a freshman who rushed Fall and is starting living in his frat house Winter quarter, but maybe he got the hook ups, lol.
