I started of at a public school in the suburbs of New Jersey. I got mediocre grades and average, maybe even below average test scores. I didn't bother wasting money applying to universities and decided I would go the CC route to see if college was right for me. So, here I am with my parents at a CC in northern California. I've really turned myself around, i'll show my stats. If I keep it up do I have a shot at fall 2012 transfer?

High School
GPA - 1.75
SATs - 1510
E.C.s - Nothing academic, I was a 4 year letter winner and top 10 state track and field athlete.

C.C.
GPA - 4.0 (sociology "major")
I am an active member of the track team at my CC, and maybe even good enough to land a spot on the university's team.

Other than that, I guess i'm a pretty mediocre canidate all around. I know Stanford wants high school grades, which is already a minus. I'm banking on my strong CC GPA to give me a boost. I'm a permanent resident of California, so I have geography on my side too (I guess). Any shot for me at any of these schools?
