I am currently a freshman at Eastern Connecticut State University. Last semester I had a 3.5 GPA and this semester I am estimating around a 3.3-3.5. I would like to transfer to UConn in the spring of 2013. At my current university, I am taking classes that transfer over to UConn. In fact, I have all but two classes fulfilled for UConn's general requirements. I am extremely committed to becoming a Husky. In high school I had a 3.1 GPA and got a 21 on my ACT's. I know many people who transferred to UConn from Eastern who had my GPA or lower but I am still panicking since I was rejected from UConn when I was a high school senior so I still have the residual wounds. Please tell me my chances.
PS. They say to transfer they consider a 2.7 and above.

I don’t know much specifically about transfering but you have a good college gpa which is definitely a plus. I assume that you are in state since you went to eastern which should also help. But I know that unless you have 60 credits they will stl look at your high school grades and your ACT which is pretty low for UConn. Although they will probably put less emphasis on that and more into your college performance. Since you still have one more semester in the fall make sure to get the highest gpa that you can. I assume that 2.7 is the minimum for a transfer. If you have any questions about uconn just pm me.

did you end up getting in?
