I want to transfer into Wharton, NYU, University of VA, Babson, Cornell, and etc etc (including some other ivies like brown, columbia, and dartmouth) as business major, after freshman year.
So far I have been getting good grades in freshman year.
I am also a part-time of my parent's business, such as managing the info systems, developing info systems, consultant for clients, assistant in marketing, part-time recipient, emails manager, etc
I'm taking English 101 (freshman English 1), Managerial Info systems 101, critical reading and writing course 112, history 266 (us hist since 1877), and ECON 101 (microeconomics).
I am planning on taking Math 134 (Managerial Calculus), Managerial Statistics, Econ102 (macroeconomics), English 102 (freshman English 2), and Freshman Seminar.
I am also a part of the Delta Sigma Pi fraternity and the business&marketing club of my college at the moment (UMASS Boston)

However, Would my low SAT scores (1640/2400) and high-school grades (not too decent) affect it greatly?

Do you think I have a chance to get in? If so, what are the chances? What should I do to get in? Any tips on applications?

Hey, I think that your SAT scores will hold you up. What’s your high school gpa? Because your applying as a sophomore, most colleges will look at your hs record. If you apply for junior transfer on the other hand you may have a better chance. You could try retaking the SAT/take the SAT, or you could apply both times.

There are some other schools with pretty good business programs… You could try the University of Maryland; theyre business school is in the top 20.

Its going to be very very tough for you to get into most of these schools with those SAT scores. I think the only realistic options on your list right now, even with great fall semester grades, are NYU and Babson, and NYU might be tough. If you are very serious about transferring you need to boost the SAT score.
