Transferring Linear Algebra Credit to USC

I will be transferring from a UC to USC this fall, and I was wondering if I would have to retake linear algebra. In my UC’s quarter system, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations are separate courses, whereas at USC they compress the two topics into one semester course. I have already taken Linear Algebra this spring quarter, ending with basically 100% in the class, and was planning to take Differential Equations in the fall (if I didn’t get into USC). Would taking a Differential Equations summer course at UCSC fulfill the Linear Algebra/Differential Equations course at USC? Or do I have no option but to retake the entire semester course at USC? The summer course starts next Monday and I don’t want to sign up if it won’t help. I have yet to receive official grades from my old school so my Transfer Credit Report has not been updated yet to show how my Linear Algebra class would transfer.
