Transferring... the process!

Hi, I'm a CC student in Virginia. I have 3.9 GPA with about 35 units of credits, including this fall semester. I'll take 15 more credits in spring semester.

So, if I apply as a Junior, 2006 Fall Transfer in March, I'll have about 50 units of credits. And, I'll be done with the Community College. Is my credits enough to transfer as a Junior? Or should I apply as a 2007 Spring Transfer, as a sophomore? If I do that, I'll have to skip the 2006 Fall Semester...doing either intern or work. Most Spring Transfer application's deadline is November 1, and the results come out in December. So, is discontinuation of education okay?

I'll apply to U. Illinois, UVA, Cornell, and UCLA.

Thanks!

When you apply for Spring 2007, will you have 50 credits done? Because for UCLA (or any UC for that matter) they require 60 credits (junior standing level).... for the other one I don't know.

UCs are different according to my research. So, for UCs, I'll apply as 2007 Fall Applicant with 60 credits. So, is it okay to take... break, and apply?
