Transferring to a Good business school

Hello, I’m currently a freshman at a California community college (Monterey Peninsula), right now I’m taking 15 units.

I want to be able to transfer to a good business school for accounting, but I’m worried I may end up with the average GPA and ecs.

Is there any advice I could get, for preparing myself to ensure I have a good chance at business schools such as USC Haas and UCLA. I do not plan on transferring to a CSU due to the extra classes required for IGETC.

Honestly I’m just intimadated over the low transfer acceptance rates for the ideal schools I would like to attend such as haas which is a school I strive to transfer to.

I predict that I may be able to attain a 3.6-3.9 GPA.

Go to the Major by Name tab, use the drop down to select UCLA and you’ll get last year’s admit rate and GPA range for every major. Note for Biz, the admit rate was 12% and the lowest transfer GPA accepted was 3.90.

I encourage you to try but, be sure to TAG another UC. Irvine and Cal are also worth a shot but, Riverside and Santa Cruz have solid programs and are worth a look and a placeholder TAG application.
