I am a sophomore in a college and my gpa is not that great. It is actually low. ( about 2.2)
I tried to raise it up but did not work out so easily. I failed a class that i failed before!!!
However, I wanted to transfer to art schools, I dont care if I go there as freshmen. I just want to get in.
I am preparing for portfolio, but I wanna know if i have to give them my college gpa… or can i just give them my high school gpa??? I dont know what to do… with college and my life. Those who transferred please help me
Hi, I currently attend Parsons as a freshman. What I can tell you is that Parsons, Sva, and Fit often overlook gpa if your portfolio is good enough. You do have to give your college gpa as well as your high school gpa which means that your first year at your college should be stellar. If it is not, you should be a strong writer to summarize and explain the poor grades. While I am not a transfer, I do have friends who have done this to get into Parsons and SVA. Best of Luck.
