Transferring to CSU

My cumulative GPA is a 2.65 due to too many C’s early on in my college experience. My major is English, and I plan on applying to Fullerton, San Fran, CSULA, Fresno, Northridge, and Sacramento. What are my chances since my major is not impacted at these colleges.

Oral Communication:A
Written Communication:C
Critical Thinking: B
Mathematics:B

Bump again.

How close are you to completing the AA-T?

I didn’t completely decide on my major until recently, so not very close. I could take many units this fall and acquire my AA, but at this point I’m ready to transfer without it if I can.

With your GPA, your chances are better at all those CSUs if you have your AA-T for English.

I believe all those campuses but LA are impacted now so, unless one is your ‘local’ school, a 2.6 probably won’t do the trick. An AA-T would certainly help for the more competitive schools. but may not be enough to get you into Fullerton, Northridge or, even Sac.

SJSU will take you as an English majior with a 2.0… they are worth a look.

Which schools out of my list do I have a decent shot at with an AA-T, and 2.7?
