I’m currently attending Hillsborough community college in Tampa Florida. I’m a business Major currently at 30 credits for my AA, so two more semesters. I have a 3.4 all As & Bs one C. How is the transfer process at USF, FSU, UCF & FIU. I’m mostly interested in FIU. Tired of Tampa & want a change. Also how likely am I to get into their business program? When should I begin to apply? Is there required essays? Or recommendations? Any experiences transferring to these schools is encouraged.
If you finish your Florida community college with an AA, the admission to any of the Florida public universities is pretty much guaranteed. Getting into a specific program, however, might be a little more challenging.
I’m not sure about others, but FIU should be super easy to get into. They have no essay requirement, and they even advertise the fact that it “only takes 20 minutes” to complete their application. Very easy.
