Transferring to Florida State University. Huge decision. What campus to attend?

So I have to make the hardest decision of my life.
I currently live in Destin, FL with my parents. There are two places where I could attend FSU. (Both places offer my BS program)
The first one would be in Panama City (1h 30 min away. I would have to drive there about 3 times a week. Financially, it would be great for me. My classes are already covered and I wouldn't have to pay for anything since I live with my parents. I could focus on my classes and I wouldn't allow any distractions. The campus is a lot smaller and the college might remind me of my current 2 year college, which is a depressing thought, to be honest. But smaller classes and staff could also mean better possibilities to do well.
The second one is the main campus in Tallahassee (3 hours away). If I go here, I would have to pay for a place to live and bills. It wouldn't be too much, but just by making this decision, I will lose money compared to my first option. I am thinking of renting a one bedroom apartment. My social life would be dramatically better. I have no friends where I currently live and I barely even see people around my age. I have heard that people are friendly and the girls are beautiful. It might be my chance to actually make friends and meet girls. On the other hand, this could also mean that I would have less time to study and become more distracted. A good thing is that it will be merely 3 hours away from home, so I could pay my parents a visit every now and then. The bad thing is that I don't know anyone going to FSU. I have no idea how things would turn out if I make this decision, but I hope I will not regret it later.

So what should I pick ? I have to pick one for my application.
Opinions are appreciated, even if you don't know anything about FSU.

You can easily cover rent with a student job, so long as you’re willing to get a roommate. Also, you’d be driving for at least 9 hours a week anyways, which means you wouldn’t have as much time to study or work.

That is true. It could take more than an hour and a half drive during summer, considering the traffic.
