I have received admission in University of Georgia for Economics in the College of Business. I plan to transfer to Georgia Tech the following year for an engineering major. In order to transfer, I need to complete the required courses such as Calculus 1,2 Physics 1,2 and English 1,2. Will I be able to take these courses in my first year at UGA given that my major is Economics? In other words, would the student adviser discourage or disallow me from registering for these specific courses?

You should be able to take whatever you want. If it helps, you can always change your major to engineering here to get an engineering advisor. Or just explain the situation. I’m sure they’ll understand.
