Is this even a possibility? I am currently attending the Dearborn campus.

The upside is that the regional campuses' are given full Michigan Honor Point value; however, the credits transferred are denoted as "Out of Residence". I'm not sure if this would be an issue or not.

Well, I currently have none - I am a first year student.

I am more a less trying to determine if transferring to LSA will even be worth it. If the credits “earned out of residence” will put me at a severe disadvantage at gaining entrance to Ross, than I might as well forget it.

Credits earned out of residence aren’t discriminated against for admission, though there is a requirement to complete a certain number of credits for admission to Ross.

If you transfer to LSA you must complete 27 credits at UM Ann Arbor before you can be considered for admission to Ross – unless you’re admitted during a winter semester and you apply during the same semester, then you just need to have completed 27 credits in transfer.

Do you know the maximum amount of credits that that will distribute into the Ross BBA program?

And, if I transfer into the LSA during a winter semester, then I can immediately by pass the rigid 27 Ann Arbor credit requirement, and directly apply to Ross?. Is my understanding correct? If so, it doesn’t seem to make much sense.

Yes. It’s structured that way because the application is due in Winter (March). It lets people who transfer in Winter have a chance at a Ross spot without falling behind in their degree program and while still being able to attend UM if they’re rejected from Ross. Spring-Fall transfers can complete the 27 credit requirement before the next application cycle. The special Winter transfers will just have half of the 27. You could do a direct transfer from Dearborn but direct transfers compose 1% of their total admits.
