Hi I applied to Marshall for fall 2009 with currently a 3.91 from Cypress College. I am currently taking 12 units which will be bring my total transfer units at the end of the spring semester to the max 64. Does this hurt my chances of getting into Marshall since I have a lot of units and they are a private institution and want me to pay more money? My only prereq left is macro econ and I got As in math, micro and english. Do I have a good shot of getting in because people I know who transferred only did the minimum 30 units and I have not heard of anyone in marshall doing the 64.

Don't worry, your unit count is right on the money and won't hurt you. In fact, you're showing strong advancement toward your degree. You might want to post this in the transfers forum though. From what I've gathered, transfers are generally frowned upon around here.

hey grey- no frowning here! Most here just don't know much about transferring- including me.
:) :) :)

Good luck pootie562- I can't imagine they won't take you.
