25% acceptance rate

that's not bad at all. i actually called today and was told that a decision has been made on my app and was mailed out yesterday. i'm hoping for good news in the coming days.

Wow SanClemente! They mailed out your decision already. If this is true, it's huge news. Why didn't you like Georgetown, if I may ask? I applied there as well.

SanClemente... are you serious. coz i just spoke with Ugad Admissions @ Marshall School of Business and they said that they have just started reviewing transfer applications...

Decisions will come out in June... wow!...

dekscholar- Georgetown is okay, it's just that I really want to move back to So Cal, but only if I get into Marshall. I will stay here even if USC accepts me for econ, but not business.

m. kenien- I was a bit surpised as well. I wasn't expecting the admissions rep to tell me that. I hope this is not some cruel joke, but she definately told me that the decision was mailed yesterday.

Wow, SanClemente, that's early for Marshall (!) but I hope you get some good news soon.

so anything yet? found the decision in ur mail?
or was there some kind of mistake?

hey what do u guys think my chances are of transferring to USC for the fall of 2010?

I go to the univ of colorado boulder. I will complete 30 credits at the end of this year. I will also have completed all the requirements. (2 semesters of writing… math… .econ… etc)

I am expecting a GPA ranging from about a 3.4- 3.5

I am of Cuban decent, and was born in Miami, FL.

I went to a competitive high school where GPA was 3.3

Competed in 3 varsity sports (all dade honors)

did clubs (law and litigation)

participated in community service projects involving autistic children, miccosukke indians, etc

trojans - your gpa is below the average accepted transfer at USC marshall which is a 3.8

I may want to attend USC Marshall. However, is it just me or is their core I, II, III, etc required classes a little ridiculous? (They want you to take really specific history, science, etc classes.)
