Transferring to MSOE

Hello, I've been looking to get a degree in Architectural and construction management degree. MSOE does offer the degree in a 5 year program. Currently I am enrolled at CLC, a community college in Illinois. So far i have taken basic math, psychologies, sociologies, chem, and composition classes. I have a total of 7-10 classes that will transfer there. I do admit i received C's in Psychology and Sociology, and Precalc. Though the rest of my grades a A's with few B's I have recently finished Calc 1 and a business/organizational psychology. With an A in business psych and, assuming a B in Calc1. Next semester I am beginning business classes and more math.

The main reason I am here at CLC is because my high school background is horrendous. I am not going to post a sop story blaming anyone but myself. It was my fault for not planning for the future. So my question is with a 3.2 GPA at a community college that I have attended for 5 semesters, do I have even a slight chance at being an accepted transfer student into their AE/CM degree program? If not is there anything I can do to improve upon my chances?

And if my chances are extremely low what am I to do? I haven't found any suitable schools that fit my needs and offer an Architectural engineering degree. Or is it time to start looking into the trades and give up on obtaining an engineering degree all together?

Evidently, no one in this forum is familiar with the program you are interested in. It is OK to contact that program directly, and ask for an evaluation of your chances. Speak with the Transfer Advisor at your CC, and get some help with this.

Wishing you all the best.

It’s not so much the program that matters it’s just the school accepting me. I’ve already seen a few threads about msoe acceptance. Thanks for your reply
