Hi.
I am currently a 2nd semester freshman Queens College student, with a 2.9 GPA (low, i know)
i had basically a 90 average in HS, taking 4 AP classes.
i had a 1900 SAT, 680 in math, 630 in reading.
i'm not sure if they look at my college or HS grades.
i am thinking of transferring to SUNY New Paltz, for the start of my sophomore year.
i had been accepted to NP when i first applied, and got 10k in loans.
my household income is around 70k.
Also, i have heard that they do not give dorm rooms to transfer students.
my questions are :
- will i get in?
- how much will i be expected to pay?
- is it hard to find off campus housing?

hey i currently go to new paltz and they do NOT offer housing to transfer kids. however it is not hard to find housing on campus. considering you were accepted out of HS id imagine you would be accepted again. your 2.9 GPA in college though is quite low but they will still look at your HS grades which are quite good for new paltz

Hey, thanks for the reply!
A problem i had was that when i applied for the transfer at applySUNY,
they did not ask for any supplementals. I found it a little weird, can anyone verify this information for me?
