Transferring to Ohio State

Hello,

I currently attend LSU as a petroleum engineering student and applied to Ohio State as a geophysics major. I have a 3.35 GPA with 52 credit hours. What are my chances of getting in? My last semester was my weakest (2.6 GPA), but my first two semesters were 4.2 GPA and 3.3 GPA. Also, how long should it take for me to hear back from Ohio State on a decision?

Also, I’m not sure if it helps in their decision at all, but I was accepted to Ohio State as an incoming freshman in the Fall of 2015.

I’m a junior at OSU, and from what I’ve heard, usually OSU requires about 30 credit hours completed and a 2.5 GPA or better if you’re transferring. I think you should be fine! I’m not sure if previous acceptance plays into the decision or not. I can’t answer how long it’ll take for you to hear back, though. Good luck!
