Transferring to Rutgers?

Hi, I'm currently a freshman at Boston College. I think this college is too expensive for me, and that I'd rather be closer to my home.
I want to transfer to Rutgers, but I didn't do so well last semester... I got a 2.5 GPA...
Is it still possible that I can get in?

Yes, it is. I know two people who have transferred in from another school with < 3.0, but what they did was go to a community college for 1-2 semesters, get their grades up, and then transfer in. Definitely apply for a transfer to Rutgers as soon as you like, but if you don’t get in the first time, just go to cc for a semester and then try again.

I go to Northeastern University in Boston but I’m originally from NJ with a current 3.5 gpa. Do I have a good chance?
