Transferring to SDSU

What are transfers doing about housing for fall 2012?

I’ll be living on campus. I sent in my licensing agreement really early so hopefully I’ll be living in the apartments on campus , which I heard are a million times better than the dorms.

what are the names of the on campus apartments?

Hey @ndirish345, I recently visited Sdsu and caught this website,
Studentapartments.com, one of the apartments under this website is called College Campanile apartments . Hope this helps ! So are you for sure going to Sdsu ?

There are campus owned apartments and privetly owned apartments on campus. “The Granada”(super new and nice) and “Aztec corner” are the privet ones and “Villa Alvarado Apartments” are school owned. Both are full of students, so are basically the same as dorms. The difference is that there are no RA’s in the privet housing which allows you to bypass campus housing rules. Also privet housing tends to be cheaper. The plus side to school owned housing is that you can get a dining plan which can be used anywhere on campus and at many surrounding stores next to the dorms. If you don’t mind cooking for yourself I’d recommend privetly owned housing.

Hi, I’m a student form the Netherlands and going to attend SDSU for one semester fall 2013. I’m looking at the housing opportunities and decided to apply for on-campus apartments. I can chose between Fraternity row, Piedra del *** and the Sanctuary Apartments. They provide floor plans and pictures but that doesn’t really help. Can someone provide me with information about these apartments? Like is it noisy at night when you live in the fratrow apartments?

I’ve driven by there a couple of times and it doesn’t seem like they make a lot of noise BUT that was during school night, I think it would be different on the weekend.

Anyone want to start a “chance me thing?”

@raider92 you have a good shot. Only thing is… you’re not in the service area. Sadly, SDSU caters to students that are in the SDSU area. So wish I still lived there, it would be so much easier for me to transfer there!

@smurray09 thanks for your input. What are your stats?

Lets just put it this way… My stats are no where close to yours. So if I get in it’ll be a blessing lol.
