I’m interested in transferring to SB from Farmingdale for the Fall 2016 semester. I had a rough freshmen year & never went to class so my GPA is roughly at a 1.8
This semester’s going amazing so far considering I’ve really been applying myself so I’ll definitely get a 4.0, which will then raise my GPA to a 2.9. I need at least a 3.0 to be admitted & I’m pretty confident that I can get another 4.0 in the Spring which will then raise it to about a 3.4. The only problem is that the deadline for fall admission is March 1st, which is mid semester for me and I’ll only have a 2.9 when the time comes.
I was hoping to apply before the deadline and send my transcript in when my grades were released (late May). Is this acceptable? Or will they only look at my application if they have space available?
Also will that put me at the end of the list for room availability?
