Post here if you are or planning to transfer to Tulane.

Approximately forty views. Soooo no one applied as a transfer applicant? If that's the case then this is good news for me :D

i applied as a transfer....

I'm thinking about applying to the school of architecture

I am planning to apply as a transfer next year.

Hi, im looking for a little help from someone who maybe knows something about the transfer process.
so here's my profile...
-i had some very serious family problems the middle of my junior year, and this forced me to withdraw from high school.
-The following year i took my GED and received an almost perfect score. think i got something like 2 questions wrong grand total
-im in college now at a 4th tier school and find the classes very easy, and unbearably boring
-i had planned to transfer out even before entering, so i intentionally took a 32 credit work load, for tulane this means my high school records no longer matter....at least according to the website.
-my mom's a tulane & vanderbilt alumni (tulane undergrad, vanderbilt grad)
-i just received my midterm grads, and i have straight A's. Unfortunately 3 of them were A-'s which gave me a 3.8 gpa. i intend to bring this up.
-with a 3.8-4.0 what are my chances of getting into
Tulane
Emory
Vanderbilt
Loyola (NO)
Boston University
Boston College
Holly Cross
U VA
Northeastern
Notre Dame

...i have very good rec's and a few family ties. i also realize this list is far to long, and need to cut it in half. if you could help me cross off names of schools that are way out of the realm of possibility. ANY help would be of huge appreciation! thankssss =]

I just got in as a transfer!
I really really want to go to the school of architecture, but I'm still waiting on my scholarship info... and that will be the decision maker.
