Hello i am going to a community college next year and was wondering what classes i should take to transfer to the school of LSA. Are there any requirements? Does taking honors courses help transferring by a lot?

Anyone? simple answers accepted haha

Yes, take honors and take general ed courses. In addition, take at least one course (and preferably two) preparatory courses in your major. For example, if you want to get into Economics, then take the beginning Microeconomics and Macroeconomics courses--and get "A"s in both of them.

The University of Michigan will want to see that you can succeed overall, but also that you can succeed in the major you are applying for and in tough courses (like honors). Then they will have confidence that you can do well in the classes at their school also.

Thank you for your advice, and if anyone out there knows? does Michigan accept sophomore transfers with 32 units completed?

Yes they do accept transfers for sophomores with 32 credits. I would make sure that your credits transfer though; if many don't transfer then I would suggest applying for a Junior transfer spot.
