Hello, I've missed the entire deadline for UCLA's admission process for this year. I applied to Pitzer College instead and got admitted with a 3.7 GPA as a transfer student from a CSU, so I'll be a junior this semester. I really want to go to UCLA though. What should I do? I'd have to wait 'till next year to apply, right? I was thinking of improving my GPA at Pitzer and then transferring for next year, but then I'll be in Senior status. Do you guys think It could be possible? Would UCLA consider me?

Must be junior level to transfer. If you accumulate too many units, it will be considered senior and won't be possible. Applications are only accepted for fall quarter, which means it must be in by Nov. 31st of this year.

What major are you trying to get into? Your chances vary depending on major, especially from a Cal State.

Might be best to wait it out and take minimal classes at a CC so as not to go over your units. If you really want to go to Pitzer and not do the gap year thing (sorta), it might be best to just finish there. The more units you earn, the more difficult it will be to get into UCLA, especially from a non-CC.
