Transferring to UCONN Spring 2016

I didn’t know where to post this so I thought this would be the best place. I recently got accepted to UCONN for the class of 2019. However, I got accepted to their Waterbury branch campus and not the Storrs main campus. So now I’m considering transferring to UCONN from Central Connecticut State University for the Spring 2015 semester for Mechanical Engineering (UCONN School of Engineering). I just want some feedback on what I would have to achieve at CCSU in order to successfully transfer to Storrs in the spring, want suggestions on what courses I should take in order to be accepted.

High school in CT
3.98 H.S. GPA
1560 SAT score
Was part of clubs, tons of community service, etc.

What is your college GPA? It looks to me like your SATs are really holding you back-could you try taking those again?

I haven’t gone to college yet, still only a senior in high school finishing up my last year. That’s what I figured as well that my SATs were likely the thing holding me back. The next SAT is June 6th so I don’t know if I would be able to take them again.

Take them again next year. Go to Central Connecticut, do well, submit your improved SATs and your college GPA to UConn. Alternately, take a gap year, do your SATs again, and then apply next year as a freshman
