<p>Is anyone still waiting to know if they got accepted? I filled out my application by the early application deadline and they requested that I send them my second semester grades before they make a decision. I sent those in three weeks ago and I am still waiting for a decision.</p>
<p>The same thing happened to me. I emailed the director of transfer admissions (I think the name is Myo something…its the person who signed the bottom of the page asking for more grades). I searched and emailed her (him?) and they sent back a reply saying they would go ahead and review my application.</p>
<p>I think the problem is that they put your application on hold once they ask you for grades, and then they don’t go back and put it back to active status. hopefully emailing them will work for you. I was accepted 2 days after I emailed.</p>

<p>My friend (not a transfer student) also had an unusually long wait before receiving her decision. She called admissions and they had her all set up the next day.</p>
<p>Sometimes people just get shoved to the back of the pile for some reason, or some kinda hold gets put on their file and they forget to take it off.</p>
<p>Agree about calling and/or e-mailing. Might get a more immediate response if you call.</p>

<p>Hm, I think you should receive a letter from them veryvery soon. The same thing happened to my sister, and they said it takes them 3-4 weeks to send a response after receiving your second semester transcript.</p>
<p>If it matters, she got her acceptance letter last week, but I dunno when her old college sent out her transcript.</p>
<p>Did she email them? Or found out about the 3-4 week wait by calling?</p>
<p>She actually went there – we live ~20 minutes away. But calling should work too.</p>
<p>when my file got put on hold i called and asked a bunch of questions. the lady only responded with “i don’t know”. so that was out…</p>

<p>and Jsmooth…i won’t post my stats. sorry! =/ i absolutely HATE those chance me threads and so as a result i won’t go blasting my stats. lol but…i will tell you that i think i’m a subpar applicant. i had TERRIBLE grades my first year of college (i mean REALLY terrible) because of some health problems. i was a decent high school student. i transffered after my first year to a state school and improved my grades 10-fold. i wouldn’t say there is anything particularly special about my application, but i feel that i definetely defied the odds with getting accepted. you have nothing to worry about though! =) i’m sure you will be perfectly fine. good luck!!!</p>

<p>You should be getting something soon… I got my acceptance letter on June 11th.</p>
<p>So I called them this morning and the woman I talked to told me that my application is in final review and they will be making a decision on it today. So I should be able to see online today if I was accepted or not. Also that I should be receiving a letter from them soon. So I checked right now to see whether I was accepted or not and there was no decision posted so I guess I will check it tomorrow. I REALLY hope I got in!</p>
