Transferring to USC with C or D grade?

I’ve worked so hard in the past year and a half since entering community college, and I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while completing all prerequisite and GEs for USC Marshall. I had a 99% in my calculus II class this semester, but after the final, I am more than positive it will drop to a C or even a D.

With this in mind, is it still possible to transfer into Marshall with all A’s and one terrible grade in a class that has no correlation to my major? I would have a 3.79 GPA with this grade taken into account.

I need any help I can get, because I’ve truly worked so hard, and I feel so crushed to have my academic career destroyed by a class useless to my major. USC Marshall is my dream school.

Hope for a C, but a single grade will not define you. Also, can you really go from a 99% to a D from just the final? Or are you just letting worry over power you? Put together a fantastic application and remain positive! It sounds like you have done everything else very well - focus on that. Move on from this bump and keep pushing to USC!

Yes it is still entirely possible
