Transferring to UT for Radio-TV-Film

<p>I'm currently attending Collin College taking core classes and other classes.
I'm hoping to transfer into UT in the College of Communications for RTF. What I'm wondering is what I need to transfer in. </p>

<p>From what I've read it's 30 or more credit hours, and a GPA of 3.2? I'm not too sure.</p>

<p>I'm also currently enrolled in Comp II (1302), I received credit for Comp I (1301) from scoring highly on my AP English IV exam I took my senior year of high school. Will that credit transfer over to UT? As with my other classes? (I'm in a psychology class, two theatre classes, and a film class) Next semester I'm taking history, a communication class (highly recommended to take if wanting to transfer into RTF), math, and two electives. I may also be doing Maymester, so I'll have potentially 33/35 hours when I finish my freshman year at Collin. </p>

<p>When is also the right time to apply? should I pull an application up now on Apply Texas to apply, or when? I've already toured RTF and everything, and it's really where I want to be.</p>

<p>I also have another question, when filling out the application on ApplyTexas, it asks for where you completed coursework and how many hours finished.</p>

<p>Should I add up all the hours I WILL have finished by next Spring? Because as of now, I’m just a freshman who’s the 2nd week into college. Of course I have no hours finished yet.</p>

<p>I counted it up. I’m going to have 36 hours completed by the time I finish my 2nd semester at Collin College.</p>
